Terms of Service
Last updated September 2026.
Booking an Appointment
When you book through a shop's Queueist storefront, you are entering an agreement with that shop, not with Queueist. The shop sets its own prices, its cancellation window and its policies. Queueist provides the software that records and manages the booking.
An appointment is held at the time you book it, subject to the shop's posted hours and that person's availability at that moment. A shop may cancel or reschedule on their end for reasons outside Queueist's control, such as illness or an emergency closure.
Changes and Cancellations
You can change or cancel an appointment yourself, from the confirmation page or by finding it with the mobile number you booked on. Each shop sets its own cancellation window. Cancelling inside that window is recorded as a late cancellation on the shop's records; what that means for you, if anything, is the shop's policy rather than Queueist's.
Cards and Charges
Some shops ask for a card to hold an appointment. Nothing is charged when you book. A card kept on file may be charged by that shop afterward, for the service or under the no-show policy the shop has set.
Payments run through Stripe and go to the shop's own Stripe account. Any question about a specific charge is the shop's to answer, since the shop is the party you paid.
For Shops Running Queueist
A shop using Queueist is responsible for the accuracy of its own hours, staff roster, services and prices, for the passcode that protects its day board, and for how it handles its clients' information. Queueist provides the platform; the shop operates it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Queueist changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
